Determine where you want to purchase a home

One of the first steps to finding a good house agent is to first find out where you want to purchase a home in . Most real estate agents are only able to assist home buyers in their own perspective regions . It’s very rare for a real estate gent to work numerous states, as most regions require additional experience and expertise.

The Realtors Experience is important

The next thing you need to do to be able to find a top Realtor is to make sure they have the appropriate accreditation to be able to successfully assist you. Make sure they are an Accredited Buyer’s Agent or ABR. This means they are accredited by the NAR and have passed their certification requirements.

Other experiences that are recommended for a Realtor to have are CPM, CRB, ePRO, CRS, GRI, and ASP accreditation. The more experience and accreditation a Realtor has the more likely they are a in the top 1 % of Realtors for that specific area .

A Professional Realtor List

Thirdly you need to know where you can find top real estate agents . There are many top Realtor List websites that you can choose from, but make sure to pick a Realtor Listing website that has in-depth information for that agent . Specifically a phone contact information, and their physical address.

Make sure to do Initial Searches

There are a lot of Realtors in the U.S , but not all Realtors are the same. There are very good Realtors and very bad Realtors. Due to the economical down turn that started in 2007 , a lot of the bad Realtors have been weeded out . Although there are still some Realtors in the business that are not good at what they do. Once you have found a Realtor List website, you need to do further research on the Realtor.

Check out the Realtor website, and see how long they have been selling homes for. Check out what broker they are with. It’s powerfully recommended to make sure the Realtor is with Re/Max and/or Coldwell Banker.

Is the Realtor well known in the community ?

Obviously not everyone can go to a community to make sure a real estate agent is well known, especially if this is a potential state-to-state relocation, but it does help. If you are able to visit the city you want to buy a home in… walk all but a bit. See if the Realtor has billboard signs, see if there are T.V/radio advertisements, or simply talk to people and see what they have to say.

Lastly… call the Realtor. Ask them all the above questions in the paragraphs above. Also remember a very important component in choosing the best Realtor for you is, do you have a good feeling about them. Did they answer your questions, or did you leave the conversation feeling a little bit turned off? Remember that this Realtor is here to serve you!
